LSIWC researchers among recipients of Certificates of Recognition from the Latvian Academy of Sciences

In the “Top Scientific Achievements 2025” competition organised by the Latvian Academy of Sciences, the study "Development of sustainable bioasphalt mixtures with renewable biopolymer lignin" was awarded Presidential Certificates of Recognition.

Among the authors are two researchers from the Laboratory of Lignin Chemistry of the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry (LSIWC) — laboratory head and leading researcher PhD Aleksandrs Aršanica, and researcher Dr. chem. Jevgenija Ponomarenko.

The study was carried out in close cooperation with Riga Technical University and SIA “Vianova”, which served as the project implementer.
