Project summary

The aim of the project is to carry out complex energy efficiency measures in the buildings of the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry at Dzērbenes iela 27, cadastre No 01001150310001 and Dzērbenes iela 27B, cadastre No 01001150309011, Riga, by implementing the activity - simplified renovation works increasing the energy efficiency of the building based on the energy certificate developed by a certified energy auditor.

The energy efficiency improvement works, according to the energy certificate, will reduce the existing energy consumption of 236.36 kWh/m2 by 97.44 kWh/m2, reaching a total energy consumption of 138.92 kWh/m2, including the calculated heating energy consumption of 65.42 kWh/m2.

The total duration of the project is expected to be 24 months. The total cost of the project is EUR 2 236 227,24, of which the European Regional Development Fund will contribute EUR 1 360 000 and the national budget EUR 240 000, while the own contribution will be EUR 636 227,24.

The project implementation started after the signing of the Project Implementation Agreement on 4 January 2019.
