European Researchers’ Night 2025

On 26 September, European Researchers’ Night will take place all across Latvia. It will be an opportunity for everyone to experience science from an unexpected, exciting, and inspiring perspective.

With the invitation “Discover the researcher’s gene within you!”, the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry welcomes everyone to awaken curiosity and explore the world of science together. This year’s message emphasizes uniqueness, personal potential, and individual contribution to research.

School groups are welcome on 26 September from 14:00–16:00, while other visitors are invited from 17:00–22:00.

The aim of European Researchers’ Night is not only to broaden knowledge and horizons, but also to showcase scientific achievements and promote STEM education.

You will find:

• meetings with scientists and their stories,

• creative and hands-on activities,

• laboratory visits,

• the chance to discover how each of us can be part of the story of science.
