Research Interests and Competencies
- Development of mycelium biocomposites from plant residual biomass and characterisation of their physico-mechanical properties, including compression, bending, water sorption, and composting analysis.
- Optimisation of fungal fruiting body and mycelium cultivation processes.
- Development of controlled-release fertilisers using Trametes versicolor mycelium composites, and evaluation of their effects on indicator plant growth parameters.
