Modification device

A multi functional wood and other modification device (producer WTT Wood Treatment Technology). It can be used for thermal modification, vacuum-pressure impregnation, hot oil treatment, etc. similar types of modification on a semi-industrial scale (250 L autoclave). Thermal modification corresponds to a closed system process, therefore wood and other biomass are modified in it at relatively lower temperatures (160 - 180°C), but under increased pressure (4 - 6 bar). Up to now, the bulk material (for heat insulation) of different hardwoods (birch, aspen, white oak, ash, oak) and conifers (pine, spruce) boards, wood and other biomass has been modified, as well as veneer and plywood. The machine is suitable for the development of various modified wood prototypes.
