Workshop “Advancing Green Chemistry Technologies”

On 11 December this year, the workshop "Advancing Green Chemistry Technologies" will take place at Ghent University, Belgium, and will cover topics such as:

• Greening pharmaceutical synthesis – more sustainable methodology
• Benign by Design
• Artificial Intelligence
• Production / scale-up plants

Leading researcher of the Biorefinery Laboratory, Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry Jānis Rižikovs will be a speaker at the seminar and will talk about the extraction of valuable extracts from birch bark. He will share his experience in developing extraction technologies, scaling them up and cooperating with entrepreneurs, as well as provide insights into the use of the biologically active extractive betulin.
