Deep Tech Atelier 2024 - session "Communicate or Die"

Daniela Godiņa, a researcher at the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry, shares her experience on the importance of communication in science.

Deep Tech Atelier is a remarkable scientific conference that took place on May 16-17, it was attended by about one and a half thousand participants from different countries and different sectors. The representatives of LSIWC were particularly interested in the diverse program topics:

• "BioSpace" stage in connection with the cooperation of the Polymer Laboratory with the European Space Agency (ESA)
• the latest developments in biotechnology, which are in line with the research directions of the Bioengineering Laboratory
• an emphasis on obtaining fermentation substrates from renewable raw materials, which underlies much of the Biorefining Laboratory's research.

In particular, we would like to draw attention to the afternoon program "Communicate or die" on the "Growth" stage, in which Daniela Godiņa, a young scientist of LSIWC, compellingly shared her experience in science communication.
