Lignīna un citu augu fenolu ķīmija. Augu atlieku kompostēšana. Kompetence - koksnes, lignīna un citu augu fenolu UV un FTIR spektroskopija, masspektrometrija, GC, HPLC un preparatīvā hromatogrāfija. Epoksīdu sveķu cietēšanas procesa pētījumi. Epoksīdu polimēru paraugu sagatavošana mehāniskām pārbaudēm.
