Project goal

In the BIODESIGN4INSULATION consortium, our primary goal is to innovate and integrate polyurethane materials produced using high contents of bio-based materials into various applications for enhanced thermal insulation, acoustic insulation, and vibration damping. Through this project, we aim to develop sustainable solutions that reduce energy losses in the refrigeration and piping systems while improving the noise and vibration performance of dishwashers. Our overarching mission is to develop eco-friendly technologies in the field of foams and elastomer materials, that could be introduced quickly in the market, contributing to a greener future in important industrial sectors.
